Because, other than being a dangerous predator in his spare time, his day job is being an extremely high-powered, creative movie mogul. That's pretty fucking attractive to anyone interested int he industry. Not everyone is interested in looks alone, and power, intelligence, creativity and influence are also attractive charecteristics to many.

Yes you're right Jim79. Rock and pop stars have been doing it for years and getting away with it. The 'casting couch' has for decades been commonly accepted as a route to the top.
It's only because Weinstein has been getting away with it for donkey's years that he has probably gradually became a sex pest. He is not a Jimmy Saville (I think?) that deserved castrating, hanging, drawing and quartering in that order for what he did to kids.
Obviously Weinstein deserves to be held accountable but I find the rush to critcise a highly respected man in his profession that helped most of the stars now sticking a knife in his back very distasteful.
Especially from a sex pest like Bill Clinton and his suck it up wife.

I've spent most of my career in Broking Floors and Trading/Dealing Rooms in the city. I've lost count of the number of traders/brokers who have screwed the girls in the back/middle office (no innuendo intended). Although its not on a promise of career advancement it is certainly due to the success and power of the high earning revenue generators that facilitate the fact that young pretty girls, usually from Essex, Kent, Herts will happily suck off a fella twice their age after the market has closed.

I think to say Weinstein "over stepped the mark" is well short of what he has done and does no favours to women. At the very least he has, over the years, taken advantage of his powerful position ( and yes so too have rock an rollers ). Let's not forget either the recordings of yellow head boasting about how he sees and treats women.

Perhaps some of you don't realise that the accusations include rape and sexual assault. It's not just a case of abusing his position to get laid.
Seems to be at least as much condemning the women as the rapist cunt which tells a lot about the way some of you are.
Interestingly the investigative reporting was done by Woody Allen's son.
